I. To implement children's traffic safety awareness, the preliminary round of the "23rd Ho Tai Motor National Children's Traffic Safety Painting Competition," co-hosted by Ho Tai Motor Co., Ltd. and Chun Ching Social Welfare Foundation, is now open for registration.
II. Preliminary round submission methods:
(1) Please fill out the registration information on the Google Form first:https://forms.gle/JzqBggzFr5ZKEys87
(2) Mail the artwork via registered post to Chun Ching Social Welfare Foundation.
From now until March 24, 2023 (Friday), based on the postmark. Late submissions will not be accepted.
III. Competition Theme: "Raise Your Hand to Cross the Road Safely."
IV. Competition Format
Preliminary Round:
General Group: Divided into Junior, Intermediate, and Senior grades. 50 participants from each grade will advance to the finals.
Special Needs Group: Divided into Junior, Intermediate, and Senior grades. 3 Outstanding, 5 Excellent, and 10 Honorable Mention awards will be selected from each grade.
Finals: On-site theme, judging, and award ceremony (Participants who qualify for the finals but cannot attend will not be replaced).
General Group: 3 Outstanding, 10 Excellent, and 37 Honorable Mention awards will be selected from each of the Junior, Intermediate, and Senior grades.
Special Needs Group: No finals. Award-winning students from the preliminary round are invited to the award ceremony.
V. Awards
I. General Group
Divided into Junior (Grades 1-2), Intermediate (Grades 3-4), and Senior (Grades 5-6) grades. The following awards will be selected in the finals for each grade:
Outstanding (3 winners): Each will receive a prize of NT$8,000, a certificate, and a picture book.
Excellent (10 winners): Each will receive a prize of NT$5,000, a certificate, and a picture book.
Honorable Mention (37 winners): Each will receive a prize of NT$3,000, a certificate, and a picture book.
II. Special Needs Group
(1) Individual Awards:
Divided into Junior (Grades 1-2), Intermediate (Grades 3-4), and Senior (Grades 5-6) grades. The following awards will be selected in the preliminary round for each grade:
Outstanding (3 winners): Each will receive a prize of NT$8,000, a certificate, and a picture book.
Excellent (5 winners): Each will receive a prize of NT$5,000, a certificate, and a picture book.
Honorable Mention (10 winners): Each will receive a prize of NT$3,000, a certificate, and a picture book.
(2) Encouragement Award:
To encourage students with special needs, all participants will receive a certificate. Participants in the Special Needs Group must submit a copy of their "Disability Certificate" or "Physician's Diagnosis Certificate" along with their artwork. Submissions without proof will be processed as general participants.
III. Class Popularity Award:
To encourage full class participation, the class instructor should collect and submit registrations collectively. The first 1000 participating classes will each receive a set of children's books.
1. Only elementary school classes are eligible for this award.
2. Each class only needs to submit one Class Popularity Award registration form; submissions without it will not be accepted. Each artwork must have the individual registration form attached to the back to be eligible for individual awards.
3. Participation must include more than half of the total class enrollment (based on the Ministry of Education's statistics for student enrollment in the 111 academic year).
