To encourage the singing of local folk songs and cultivate local music and art talents, the Ministry of Education has commissioned the National Taiwan Arts Education Institute to organize the aforementioned folk song creation competition. It is hoped that participants will draw inspiration from the cultural elements of various counties and cities to create local folk songs, thereby achieving the goals of inheritance, promotion, innovation, and deepening of local cultural identity.
