2024 "Subsidies for Private Organizations or Schools to Promote Green Chemistry" Public Call for Proposals

I. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. Tai Jiao Zi (6) Zi No. 1130006728A dated January 18, 113.

II. To implement the promotion of green chemistry, expand the benefits of knowledge transfer, popularize scientific concepts, and achieve the effectiveness of risk communication and knowledge building, the Department of Environmental Protection, Ministry of the Environment (hereinafter referred to as the "Department") is organizing the "113 Annual Subsidy (Donation) to Private Organizations or Schools for the Promotion of Green Chemistry Public Solicitation Project."

III. The application period for the aforementioned public solicitation project is from the date of announcement to March 29, 113. The execution period is from the date of approval to October 31, 113. All sectors are welcome to participate. The key points are summarized as follows:

(I) Target Audience: Private organizations or schools (universities, colleges, and elementary schools).

(II) Solicitation Themes: Organizing the development or implementation of teaching materials, animations, picture books, board games for green chemistry or non-toxic homes, or organizing workshops, educational promotion activities, competitions, etc.

(III) Target Audience for Promotion: School teachers and students, the general public, and indigenous peoples (priority for promotion to teachers and students, vulnerable groups, and indigenous peoples).

(IV) Scope:

1. Promoting teaching or workshops using green chemistry or non-toxic home-related teaching materials, animations, picture books, board games established by the Department from 107-113, or referencing international (e.g., Sweden, Denmark) non-toxic home-related materials.

2. Developing green chemistry or non-toxic home-related courses, compiling teaching materials and lesson plans, designing experiments, organizing lectures, camps, competitions, and related teaching activities based on the 12 principles of green chemistry and the toxic and controlled chemical substances listed by the Department.

3. Compiling and organizing educational promotion activities related to green chemistry or non-toxic homes, including compiling teaching materials and lesson plans, and designing animations, picture books, board games, etc., by referencing the thematic special zones on the Department's global information website and international (e.g., Sweden, Denmark) non-toxic home-related information.

(V) Number of Cases and Amounts:

1. In principle, the maximum subsidy per case is NT$150,000, with a total budget of NT$1,200,000.

2. The Department may adjust the number and amount of approved subsidy (donation) cases within the total budget based on the actual application situation and review results.
