To strengthen the public's awareness and action towards lifelong learning, and to gradually realize the vision of "Taiwan that Loves to Learn - A Learning Taiwan" from the "Lifelong Learning White Paper" released in March 110 (2021), the Ministry of Education, building on the foundation of organizing the first Lifelong Learning Festival in 112 (2023), has specifically designated October 12th to 20th, 113 (2024) (hereinafter the same) to hold the "Ministry of Education's 2nd 'Lifelong Learning Festival' and 2024 Media Literacy Education Week" at the National Taiwan Science Education Center.

This year's event theme is "AI New Era, Intergenerational Learning," and it plans to integrate media literacy education topics such as "Identifying Fake Information, Correctly Using Short Videos, and Enhancing Online Personal Data Security." The dynamic activities are mainly concentrated on October 12th and 13th, including: a launch press conference, awards ceremony, lifelong learning performances and stamp collection market, media literacy lectures and theater, media literacy documentaries, lectures, and workshops, among other diverse activities.
