I. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. Tai Jiao Zi (6) Zi No. 1112704084 dated November 24, 111.
II. To implement tree education promotion, with the theme of "Campus Sustainability Starts with Loving Trees," integrating environmental education learning content, participants will use images and text to elaborate on the characteristics, history, and stories of native trees on campus, as well as the school's tree-loving and tree-protecting actions, in order to foster a campus atmosphere of loving trees and strengthen the connection between teachers, students, and campus trees. Therefore, the aforementioned competition is organized.
III. The key points of the aforementioned competition are as follows:
(I) Eligibility: Divided into elementary school group (grades 4-6), junior high school group, senior high school/vocational group, and teacher group (including elementary, junior high, and senior high/vocational). Student groups are formed by 1 to 3 students, guided by 1 teacher; teacher groups are formed by 1 to 2 teachers. Cross-school team formation and duplicate registration are not allowed. However, participating teachers may simultaneously serve as guiding teachers for one student team.
(II) Competition Format: The theme is native tree species on campus. Participants should submit up to 5 photos with a width or height of at least 1,600 pixels, and use short essays, prose, poetry, or other forms to elaborate on the tree's story, and introduce the school's tree-loving and tree-protecting actions. Text and images need to be arranged and designed.
(III) Judging Method: The Ministry of Education will organize a judging panel for evaluation and review. For the elementary school group, junior high school group, senior high school/vocational group, and teacher group, the top 3 teams in each group will be selected, totaling 24 teams (4 first-place teams with a team prize of NT$15,000; 8 second-place teams with a team prize of NT$10,000; 12 third-place teams with a team prize of NT$5,000, distributed equally among team members in principle; guiding teachers of student teams will receive an award of NT$2,000) and several honorable mentions. Outstanding achievement certificates and prizes will be awarded (prizes do not include honorable mentions).
(IV) The deadline for submission of entries for this competition is February 28, 112. Submissions will be made online. The list of winners is expected to be announced at the end of March 112.
