Taipei Municipal Wanhua Junior High School 112 Academic Year Regional Gifted Education Program "CSIC Forensic Little Master - Inquiry and Practice Camp" Implementation Plan
I. Basis
(I) Taipei City Regional Gifted Education Program.
(II) Letter No. BPSPE-1113017118 dated September 27, 2022.
II. Objectives
(I) To enhance students' understanding of forensic science.
(II) To enable students to understand the assistance of trace evidence and forensic science in police investigations and criminal investigations.
(III) To train students in using scientific knowledge to find evidence and conduct inquiry.
III. Organizing Units
(I) Organizer: Department of Education, Taipei City Government.
(II) Undertaker: Taipei Municipal Wanhua Junior High School.
(III) Co-organizer: National Tsing Hua University.
IV. Activity Time: February 6 (Monday) to February 7 (Tuesday), 2023, for a total of 2 days.
V. Activity Location: Taipei Municipal Wanhua Junior High School, No. 201 Xizang Road, Wanhua District, Taipei City. Please refer to Attachment 3.
VI. Activity Content: Please refer to Attachment 1.
VII. Activity Instructors: External lecturer Professor Li Cheng-lung from the General Education Center of National Tsing Hua University and teachers from our school will serve as instructors.
VIII. Activity Expenses: The expenses for this activity will be borne by each participating student at NT$350. The insufficient amount will be subsidized by the Department of Education, Taipei City Government.

IX. Eligibility: Sixth-grade students from public and private elementary schools in Taipei City, and seventh and eighth-grade students from public and private junior high schools in Taipei City who meet one of the following criteria.
(I) Gifted resource class students.
(II) Gifted program students (regional satellite gifted program, school-based gifted program).
(III) Eighth grade: Students whose science or mathematics scores in the second semester of the 110th academic year ranked in the top 20% of the entire grade (please have the academic affairs office certify on the student's registration form).
Seventh grade: Students whose science or mathematics scores in the most recent regular assessment ranked in the top 20% of the entire grade (please have the academic affairs office certify on the student's registration form).
(IV) Students who have participated in mathematics or science-related competitions and achieved excellent results (provide proof of excellence).
(V) Students who are interested in the activity theme and have been recommended by teachers for outstanding performance or potential (please have teachers certify on the student's registration form).
