I. The Kaohsiung City August 23 Kinmen-Matsu War Memorial Hall is located in Weiwuying Park. The hall exhibits pictures and artifacts from the August 23 Artillery Battle. To facilitate public access to the memorial hall even when at home, an online exhibition has been launched to allow more people to understand the history of the August 23 War and the contributions of the heroic officers and soldiers of the national army, achieving the purpose of national defense education for all citizens. A virtual reality (VR) immersive experience of the Kinmen battle, covering land, sea, and air, has also been produced. Visitors can also lay flowers at the August 23 Kinmen-Matsu War Memorial Monument to pay tribute to the heroic officers and soldiers of the great national army.
