2023 Environmental Education Personnel Core Curriculum Training Course, Session 1 (Session Code: AA2922)

I. In accordance with the Taipei City Government's 112 training plan.

II. Participants are graduates of public or accredited private universities, independent colleges, or junior colleges, or foreign universities, independent colleges, or junior colleges recognized by the Ministry of Education, who have completed 18 credits or more in environmental-related fields (interdisciplinary studies are not allowed), but have not studied core environmental education subjects, including environmental education, environmental ethics, and environmental education teaching methods. Those who wish to attend the training should first check the "Environmental Protection Administration, Ministry of the Environment, Training Institute for Environmental Protection Personnel Certification Application System / Environmental Education Certification / Download Area / Credits for Professional Field Courses" (https://www.epa.gov.tw/training) to verify their eligibility before registering for this training. Those who attend the entire session and obtain a certificate of training hours may apply to the Environmental Protection Administration for environmental education personnel certification with their academic qualifications.

III. Please have the personnel officers of each agency complete the registration for the 1st session of the "Core Curriculum Training Class for Environmental Education Personnel" (Class Code: AA2922) through the "Physical Class Personnel Login System" (URL: https://dcsdcourse.taipei.gov.tw/personnel_login.php) before April 10th.

IV. The training course schedule is attached (as Attachment 1). Once the minimum number of participants is reached, training information will be sent via E-mail to the trainees and your agency's personnel officers. Please pay close attention. To avoid any transmission errors, please have your agency's personnel officers forward the training information to the trainees.

V. Participants who attend the entire session of the aforementioned class will be awarded 32 hours of environmental education credit (for those with valid environmental education personnel certification, these hours can also be used for extension); civil servants will also be awarded lifelong learning hours.

VI. Lecture notes will be available in the dedicated area for physical classes. Participants can log in to "Taipei e-University" - "Physical Class Area" - "29 Student Area" - "29C Lecture Notes Download" to browse or download them before the class. Lecture notes will not be provided on the day of the class.
