I. In accordance with Article 19, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph 4 of the Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act.

II. To protect the health rights and interests of the public from secondhand smoke and to establish an outdoor smoke-free environment, the Taipei City Department of Health, in accordance with Article 19, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph 4 of the Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act, announces that the sidewalks surrounding the Muzha Campus of the National Taiwan College of Performing Arts (Address: No. 8-1, Lane 66, Section 3, Muzha Road, Wenshan District, Taipei City) will be designated as a smoke-free zone starting from May 1, 112 (2023).

III. Any violation of the prohibition of smoking in the aforementioned smoke-free zone will be subject to a fine of not less than NT$2,000 and not more than NT$10,000, in accordance with Article 40, Paragraph 2 of the Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act.
