Taipei City 112th Year Elementary School Promotion of Children's Deep Reading Reading Education Teaching Design Solicitation Implementation Plan

  • Submission
  • Submission Period: From now until September 27, 112 (Wednesday) at 4:00 PM. Late submissions will not be accepted.
  • Submission Method: Please mail via registered post or deliver in person to the Academic Affairs Office of Lihu Elementary School (No. 8, Lane 363, Jinhu Road, Neihu District, Taipei City).
  • Submission Contents: 3 copies of the teaching design in hard copy, 1 copy of the application form (Attachment 1) in hard copy, and 1 CD containing the electronic file.
  • Submission Format: A4 vertical orientation, horizontal writing. Body text in KaiTi font size 12. Punctuation in full-width characters. Line spacing 1.5 times. Margins: 2.5 cm top and bottom, 3.1 cm left and right. Total pages not exceeding 10 pages (including teaching materials, learning worksheets, images, etc.; cover page is not counted). Submissions that do not comply with the format will not be evaluated.

  • Submission Guidelines
  1. The teaching design must primarily use newspapers or other suitable weekly/monthly publications, electronic media, or databases for children's reading as teaching materials.
  2. Each submission can have a maximum of 2 authors.
  3. Teaching DesignMust be original and unpublished work.
  4. Teaching DesignThe author is solely responsible for the content and must sign a declaration on the application form stating that no academic misconduct has occurred.
  5. Teaching DesignMust not be a thesis or a project research report that has received funding.
  • Recommended content for teaching design includes: design concept, teaching objectives, learning focus corresponding to relevant subject areas (for grades 5 and 6, this can be corresponding competency indicators), target audience, grade level, teaching time, curriculum structure, teaching process, teaching assessment, teaching reflection, and reference materials.
  • Evaluation Criteria:
  • Formal Review: Theme and format specifications, whether they comply with this project.
  • Content Review: Theme content 30%, creativity and uniqueness 30%, completeness 20%, feasibility 20%.
  • Awards:
  • Based on the evaluation results, the planned number of selected entries and awards are as follows:
  1. Outstanding:3entries. Awarded teachers will receive a certificate of merit, a gift certificate of NT$2,000, and 2 commendations each.
  2. Excellent:5entries. Awarded teachers will receive a certificate of merit, a gift certificate of NT$1,500, and 1 commendation each.
  3. Meritorious:10entries. Awarded teachers will receive a certificate of merit, a gift certificate of NT$1,000, and 1 commendation each.
  • The judges may increase or decrease the number of selected entries based on the quality of the submissions.
  • The list of award winners will be announced by 4:00 PM on October 31, 112 (Tuesday) on the Lihu Elementary School website (URL: http://www.lhes.tp.edu.tw/) and the Taipei City Children's Reading Promotion Network (URL: http://reading.tp.edu.tw), and the Department of Education will notify each school via official letter.
  • Other
  • The content, related text, images, etc., of the award-winning works are unconditionally authorized for modification, inclusion on the Taipei City Children's Reading Promotion Network by the Department of Education, and for use in media playback or publication for non-commercial promotional purposes.
  • Teaching designs participating in this selection activity must adhere to academic ethics. Manuscripts should not be submitted to multiple publications. Any such instances will result in the disqualification of publication. If awards or prizes have already been issued, they will be revoked.
  • Award winners will be recognized and awarded at the city's reading achievement sharing session (scheduled for November-December 112), where they will share their award-winning works.
  • Submitted works will not be returned and will be kept by the organizing unit.Please keep your own files.
