I. To enhance students' cultural exchange with local residents during their Chinese language study in Taiwan and to cultivate their ability to use Chinese in daily life, we are seeking Taiwanese families interested in American culture and willing to provide accommodation for students.

II. Information regarding the homestay family selection is as follows:

(I) Homestay period: From July 1, 2023, to August 13, 2023.

(II) Homestay location: Greater Taipei area.

(III) Hosting requirements: Must provide students with a private room or a single bed (bunk beds are acceptable), meals during the homestay period, and arrangements for outings with the students.

(IV) Subsidy amount: A subsidy of NT$1,000 per day will be provided.

III. Interested applicants are welcome to attend the information session. Relevant information is as follows:

(I) Information session time: May 20, 2023 (Saturday), from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

(III) Information session location: B1 Conference Hall, International Building, Building B, Taipei Campus (online participation is available).

IV. Families interested in providing homestay are requested to complete the registration form (https://forms.gle/sEGKD62MmcWyKW1o7) to register and attend the information session. The organizing unit will conduct on-site visits to the accommodation locations and will notify the selected list separately.
