I. In accordance with the letter of the Social Affairs Bureau of this Government dated June 8, 112, Bei She Er Shao Zi No. 1123097923.
II. The eligibility, subsidy items, and subsidy amounts for the medical assistance mentioned above are as follows:
(I) Eligibility: Children and adolescents aged 6 to under 18 who are registered residents of Taipei City, have a diagnosis certificate issued by a hospital indicating a continuous need for rehabilitation therapy, and meet one of the following qualifications:
1. Low-income households.
2. Low-to-middle income households.
3. Recipients of emergency living assistance for children and adolescents in disadvantaged families in this city.
4. Holders of major illness or rare disease certificates.
(II) Subsidy items: Subsidies will be provided to applicants for rehabilitation items not covered by National Health Insurance and requiring full self-payment (physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, psychological therapy, music therapy training, drama therapy training, play therapy training, dance therapy training, art therapy training) at rehabilitation units listed in the "Consolidated Table of Early Intervention Service Units in Municipalities and Counties (Cities)" announced by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, or medical (therapy) institutions legally registered with the government, with subsidies based on the actual self-paid amount.
(III) Subsidy amounts (monthly subsidy limit per person):
1. Children and adolescents from low-income households: NT$5,000.
2. Children and adolescents from low-to-middle income households, recipients of emergency living assistance for children and adolescents in disadvantaged families in this city, or those with rare diseases or major illness cards: NT$3,000.
