1. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. Tai Jiao Zi (6) Zi No. 1122702259 dated June 9, 112.
2. To implement the National Environmental Education Guidelines and the integration of environmental education into the curriculum guidelines for the 12-year basic education, promote school environmental actions, and practice a net-zero green lifestyle, the aforementioned competition is hereby organized.
3. The key points of the aforementioned competition are as follows:
(1) Participants: Elementary school group (students in grades 4-6), Junior high school group (students in grades 7-9).
(2) Practical competition format: The competition will focus on the five major learning themes under environmental education: "Environmental Ethics, Sustainable Development, Climate Change, Disaster Prevention and Response, and Sustainable Use of Energy and Resources." The aim is to implement environmental actions or produce works that seek solutions to environmental problems and demonstrate practical application and promotion.
(3) Review method and awards: The Ministry of Education will organize a review panel for evaluation, divided into preliminary and final review stages. Generally, 20 teams from each group (elementary and junior high) will be selected for the final review. The top 3 places in each group (1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place), as well as outstanding, honorable mention, and teacher cultivation awards, will be selected and awarded certificates.
(4) Schedule: The preliminary review submission period is from October 16 to November 16, 112, and will be conducted through written review. The final review is expected to be held in March 113, with on-site performances.
