I. In accordance with the Taipei City Government's 2023-2024 Capital Living Circle Dengue Fever Prevention Plan.
II. Recent dengue fever outbreaks, both domestically and internationally, have been severe. As of August 17, 2023, there have been 1,836 dengue fever cases nationwide, including 1,727 local cases and 109 imported cases; Taipei City has a total of 25 confirmed cases, including 1 local case and 24 imported cases.
III. The Taipei City Department of Health held an in-person "2023 Taipei City Government Dengue Fever Prevention Education and Training" course on July 28, 2023 (Friday), and has recorded it as digital learning material published on Taipei e-learning.
IV. Please utilize the aforementioned digital learning materials to enhance your knowledge of dengue fever prevention. For the garden bases, construction sites, vacant houses and lots, high-risk areas, mountain trails, markets, campuses, parks, and other high-risk dengue fever locations under your management, please strengthen the elimination of breeding sources and inspections, and regularly patrol and remove standing water containers in office spaces to prevent the expansion of dengue fever outbreaks in the city.
