1. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. Tai Jiao Zi (6) Zi No. 1120080141 dated August 15, 112.

2. In order to meet the needs of practical implementation and current issues, the relevant regulations for the certification and management of environmental education personnel have been adjusted to achieve the goals of simplifying administration, benefiting the public, and ensuring consistency in environmental protection-related license management. Therefore, some articles of this regulation have been amended, with the main points of amendment as follows:

(1) Simplify the certification review process and accelerate the processing time for verification. (Amended Article 13)

(2) Referring to the regulation of two years and six hours of in-service training for environmental protection specialized and technical personnel, the environmental-related training hours required for application for extension have been amended to accumulate 15 hours or more, and must include 3 hours or more of training related to environmental education laws or policies. (Amended Article 15)

(3) Add provisions for the training of environmental education personnel legally assigned to environmental education institutions, facilities, and places, as well as personnel designated by schools in accordance with Article 18, Paragraph 1 of the Environmental Education Act. Furthermore, add reasons for revocation of certification for those who do not participate in the training and do not apply for an extension. (Amended Articles 15-1 and 17)
