Announcement Taipei City 112 Academic Year Student Music Competition Implementation Plan

I. In accordance with the Implementation Guidelines for the 112th Academic Year National Student Music Competition and the resolutions of the preparatory meetings for the 112th Academic Year Student Music Competition held by this Bureau on August 9 and August 21, 112.

II. Registration Regulations

(I) All registrations must be completed online (website: https://www.tpcityart.tp.edu.tw/). Participants who do not register online will not be allowed to compete. After the registration form has been officially stamped by the school, the stamped registration form and list will be uploaded to the city's five arts competition websites. Late submissions will not be accepted.

(II) Time:

1. Online Registration: From 9:00 AM on Friday, September 1, 112, to 11:59 PM on Tuesday, September 12, 112.

2. Print Registration Form and School Stamp: After completing the online registration, you can print the registration form. Please complete the school stamping process as soon as possible.

3. Upload Stamped Registration Form and List: From 9:00 AM on Friday, September 1, 112, to 11:59 PM on Thursday, September 14, 112.

(III) Other Registration Related Regulations

1. Submission of Application Form for Direct Participation in the National Competition: Those who meet the provisions of Article 11, Paragraph 1, Subparagraphs 4 and 5 of this Implementation Plan must submit the "Application Form for Direct Participation in the National Competition for the 112th Academic Year of Taipei City" to Fuxing Elementary School, Wanhua District, Taipei City, before Friday, September 15, 112.

2. University students who have won first place in the same category of the finals for individual events in the university group in the 108th and 110th academic years are not allowed to participate in the preliminary and final rounds of that category.

III. The main points of the revision of the implementation plan are as follows. Please be sure to inform the participants.

(I) The regulations for group events, chorus, and marching band have been modified in accordance with the national competition regulations.

(II) The city will pilot the elementary school group for harmonica quartet in the 112th academic year for the first time.

(III) Comments will be available for online inquiry and will no longer be mailed in paper form.

(IV) Revision of the competition replacement mechanism: When the first place in a division withdraws or there are no participants in a division, participants in the same category and group within the city (limited to those with scores of 80 or above) will be replaced in order of their scores, from highest to lowest.

(V) Those who obtain the right to represent in the finals (including those who are replaced as primary candidates) and are unable to participate in the finals due to unforeseen circumstances must upload the signed or stamped "Statement of Voluntary Withdrawal from the National Finals Competition" to the city's five arts competition websites.

IV. The designated pieces for the 112th academic year have been announced on the website of the National Taiwan Arts Education Center (http://web.arte.gov.tw/Music/default.asp). Please download and inquire directly.
