Taipei City Binjiang Elementary School will organize the 113th Regional Gifted Education Program.

  1. Activity Schedule: From February 21, 113 to April 17, 113, every Wednesday from 13:00 to 15:30 (a total of 8 weeks, 24 sessions).
  2. Activity Location: Binjiang Elementary School (No. 99, Lane 266, Lequn 2nd Road, Taipei City), 3rd Floor Natural Science Classroom.
  3. Target Audience: Fourth-grade students currently enrolled in public and private elementary schools in Taipei City, who have a strong interest in LEGO robot creation and programming, and have been recommended by their school.
  4. Admission Criteria: 1. Priority admission for gifted class and gifted program students. 2. Fourth-grade students who meet the application standards will be admitted in order of their total score based on the information filled in the application form. The review content for admitted students includes: (1) Mathematical logical thinking (30%): Understanding mathematical concepts and using logic to solve mathematical problems, including understanding and solving everyday problems. (2) Mechanical application (30%): Ability to use simple mechanical principles to create levers, wheels and axles, pulleys, and gears to solve problems in life. (3) Building block operation (30%): Ability to construct building block engineering assemblies based on spatial concepts, observation skills, and creativity, and to discover and solve problems in life. (4) Previous participation in related courses, activities, and competitions (10%).
  5. Activity Fee: Each participating student will be charged NT$2,000. The insufficient amount will be subsidized by the Taipei City Government Department of Education.
  6. Registration Method: Register with the Special Education Section of Shijian Elementary School from now until December 27, 112 (Wednesday). Late registrations will not be accepted.
  7. Admission Announcement: The list of admitted students will be announced at noon on January 8, 113 (Monday) on the Binjiang Elementary School website, and the list of admitted students will be notified to each school.
  8. Payment Method: Admitted students must complete the payment according to the payment method indicated on the admission notice from January 15, 113 to January 19, 113, 4:00 PM. The payment is NT$2,000 per person. Failure to pay within the deadline will be considered a forfeiture, and waitlisted individuals will be admitted instead.
