I. Purpose:

(1) To provide visually impaired students with the opportunity to experience various sports, develop a love for sports, and cultivate regular exercise habits.

(2) To promote mutual assistance and cooperation among visually impaired students, enhancing their problem-solving and communication skills.

(3) To build self-confidence through adapting to physical activities.

(4) To discover visually impaired athletes with potential, encourage participation in domestic and international competitions, and open up different life paths.

II. Participants: Visually impaired students from elementary schools (grades 4-6), junior high schools, and senior high schools/vocational schools in various counties and cities, totaling 30 participants. If the number of applicants is high, participants will be selected in the order of junior high, elementary, and senior high/vocational schools.

III. Activity Dates: January 22, 2024 (Monday) to January 23, 2024 (Tuesday), for a total of two days.

IV. Activity Location: Taipei School for the Visually Impaired, Taipei Shilin Sports Center.

V. Registration Method: Email registration or online registration.

VI. Activities:

(1) Aerobic dance, archery

(2) Rock climbing, spinning, yoga

(3) Floor curling

(4) Darts, introduction to sports for people with disabilities

(5) Judo

VII. Activity Fee: To encourage visually impaired students to participate in this event, the activity is free of charge, and transportation subsidies will be provided.

(1) From Taoyuan south to Taichung, a transportation subsidy of NT$500 will be provided.

(2) Yilan area, a transportation subsidy of NT$500 will be provided.

(3) From Taichung south to Pingtung, a transportation subsidy of NT$1,000 will be provided.

(4) Eastern region, Hualien and Taitung, a subsidy of NT$1,000 will be provided.

(5) Outlying islands, a subsidy of NT$2,000 will be provided.
