Please encourage teachers to actively register for the "2024 [Citizen Scientist] Muzha Park Ecological Mosquito Prevention Volunteer Training and Ecological Mosquito Prevention and Control Environmental Education Promotion Teacher Workshop" implementation plan, which is assisted by the Taipei City School Environmental Education Center (hereinafter referred to as the Center) for the Taipei City Wenshan Community University.

I. In accordance with the Center's establishment plan and the implementation plan for the Muzha Park Ecological Mosquito Prevention Volunteer Training Course and Muzha Park Ecological Mosquito Prevention and Control Outline by Taipei City Wenshan Community University and Highlight Ecology Co., Ltd.

II. Key points of this workshop are summarized as follows:

(I) Participants: 1. 30 teachers (per session) from public and private high schools and below in Taipei City who are interested in the natural ecology of Muzha Park in Wenshan District, Taipei City, and the theme of ecological mosquito prevention and control in outdoor venues. 2. Teachers from public and private schools at all levels in Wenshan District, Taipei City, are particularly encouraged to register. (II) Time and Location:

1. First session "Introduction to Muzha Series Course (I)": March 6, 2024 (Wednesday), 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Location: Performing Arts Hall, Yongjian Elementary School, Wenshan District, Taipei City.

2. Second session "Introduction to Muzha Series Course (II)": March 13, 2024 (Wednesday), 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Location: Performing Arts Hall, Yongjian Elementary School, Wenshan District, Taipei City.

3. Third session "Introduction to Muzha Park Series Course (I)": March 20, 2024 (Wednesday), 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Location: Performing Arts Hall, Yongjian Elementary School, Wenshan District, Taipei City.

4. Fourth session "Introduction to Muzha Park Series Course (II) Muzha Park Walk and Read": March 27, 2024 (Wednesday), 1:45 PM to 4:45 PM, Location: Muzha Park, Wenshan District, Taipei City.

5. Fifth session "How to do ecological mosquito prevention at Yongjian Elementary School and Taipei City School Environmental Education Center?": May 8, 2024 (Wednesday), 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Location: Performing Arts Hall, Yongjian Elementary School, Wenshan District, Taipei City.

(III) Workshop Hours Awarded:

1. For those who attend the entire workshop for the first, second, third, and fifth sessions, 2 hours of Taipei City teacher workshop hours and environmental education lifelong learning network workshop hours (extended hours) from the Ministry of Environment will be awarded for each session.

2. For those who attend the entire workshop for the fourth session, 3 hours of Taipei City teacher workshop hours and environmental education lifelong learning network workshop hours (extended hours) from the Ministry of Environment will be awarded.

3. Sign-in and sign-out must be completed for each session to be awarded workshop hours.

III. Registration and Selection Method:

(I) Those who wish to register for the workshop can register through the Taipei City Teacher In-service Training Network (https://insc.tp.edu.tw). For each session, the Center will admit 30 teachers from all levels of schools in the city on a first-come, first-served basis, until full.

(II) Registration Period: The registration period for the first session is from February 19, 2024, to March 1, 5:00 PM; the registration period for the second session is from February 19, 2024, to March 8, 5:00 PM; the registration period for the third session is from February 19, 2024, to March 15, 5:00 PM; the registration period for the fourth session is from February 19, 2024, to March 22, 5:00 PM; the registration period for the fifth session is from February 19, 2024, to May 3, 5:00 PM.

(III) This series of workshops is divided into five sessions. Teachers who wish to register for multiple sessions should register separately in the registration system for each session on the Taipei City Teacher In-service Training Network.

IV. Notes for this workshop:

(I) Teachers attending the workshop are requested to bring their own reusable cups and digital cameras, and wear comfortable clothing. For specific outdoor activities (Muzha Park walk and read, and outdoor venue observation on campus), you may bring mosquito repellent spray, sunscreen, etc., according to your personal needs.

(II) During the workshop, staff from the Center and the organizing unit will take photos and videos at any time to record the workshop activities. The relevant image records will be provided to the organizing unit of this workshop for retention or uploaded to the official website of the Center and its affiliated online social platforms for environmental education promotion in the city. Teachers who have concerns about the use of their personal portraits in accordance with the above methods should proactively inform the workshop coordinator of the Center before the start of each workshop session.
