II. The government subsidizes free oral mucosal examinations once every two years. Individuals aged 30 and above who chew betel nuts (including those who have quit) or smoke, and indigenous people aged 18 and above but under 30 who chew betel nuts (including those who have quit), can use their National Health Insurance card to get examined at contracted dental or otolaryngology clinics.
