Inform the Child Welfare League Foundation - "New Human Time Machine" Parent-Child Sustainability Action

"New Human Time Machine" is a family-based sustainable action empowerment program that aims to cultivate children's observation and empathy skills through parent-child co-learning.

It also allows parents and children to practice caring for the world together and engage with more diverse Sustainable Development issues.

It aims to broaden children's international perspective and cultivate their literacy and problem-solving abilities. This year, 10 to 15 teams are expected to be selected to participate in design thinking co-learning workshops led by professional instructors.

Through diverse outdoor field trips, one-on-one sustainable action plan guidance meetings, and other activities, it aims to stimulate children's systems thinking, problem-solving, and planning/execution abilities, and to develop innovative sustainable action plans.

I. Eligibility: 

(1) Each team can have a maximum of 6 members.

(2) Each team must have a team leader who is a child aged 7-12, accompanied by an adult family member or caregiver (communications officer) who resides with them.

(3) Teams can be formed by different families, but children from different families must be accompanied by a resident adult.

(4) Family members not listed on the team roster are not permitted to participate in training courses and activities.

(1) Team Members: Please provide personal information and primary contact details for all participating team members.

(2) Motivation for Application: What are your reasons for applying for this program? Please provide a description of no more than 200 words.

(3) Sustainable Action Sailing Plan: Please provide a detailed description of your specific sustainable action. Please write no more than 500 words.

(4) Sustainable Development Goals: You may select up to 3 Sustainable Development Goals relevant to your action.

(5) Destination for this Voyage: What are the intended outcomes (impact) of your sustainable action? Please list them in bullet points, with a description of no more than 500 words.
