According to Article 14-1, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph 6 of the "Animal Protection Act," it is stipulated that "No person shall use animal traps to capture animals"; Article 14-2 stipulates that "No person shall manufacture, sell, display, or import/export animal traps without permission from the central competent authority." Furthermore, Article 30, Paragraph 1, Subparagraphs 7 and 8 stipulate that "A fine of not less than NT$15,000 and not more than NT$75,000 shall be imposed for violations of Article 14-1, Paragraph 1, using prohibited methods to capture animals; and for violations of Article 14-2, manufacturing, selling, displaying, or importing/exporting animal traps without permission from the central competent authority." III. To prevent harm to animals and build a friendly animal environment for all citizens, please assist in strengthening publicity. In accordance with the Animal Protection Act, animal traps shall not be used to capture animals, and no person shall manufacture, sell, display, or import/export animal traps. Violators shall be fined not less than NT$15,000 and not more than NT$75,000.
