The Wang Chang Geng Social Welfare Foundation and the Mindfulness and Contemplation Center at Ming Chi University of Technology cordially invite teachers to apply for the "Mindfulness Education Campus Promotion Project" Seed Teacher Training "Course Briefing Session" and "Beginner and Advanced Courses." Details are provided in the explanation and attachments.
Explanation:
1. This project promotes "Seed Teacher Training Courses" to help teachers enhance their physical and mental health and self-care abilities, learn to calm the mind, focus, and be aware, thereby improving work efficiency, teacher-student relationships, and classroom management. It also integrates the practical application of mindfulness in teaching, enabling participating teachers to exert greater influence in their own teaching fields in the future, laying the foundation for seed teachers' mindfulness teaching capabilities.
2. Since May 2021, this project has promoted 411 public campus activities in various schools. Among the over 3,000 benefiting students, 97% responded that the course helped them find effective ways to practice mindfulness awareness, which was beneficial for concentration, emotional stability, and stress relief, and could be effectively applied in the classroom and daily life, achieving excellent results.
3. Teachers interested in mindfulness education are welcome to apply for the "Course Briefing Session," "Beginner Course" (application deadline April 30, 2024), and "Advanced Course" (application deadline June 14, 2024) during the 2023-2024 academic years and summer breaks. 5. The project is fully sponsored by the Public Trust and executed by the Mindfulness and Contemplation Center at Ming Chi University of Technology. Due to limited spots, Ming Chi University of Technology reserves the final right to accept or reject applications.
