I. Basis:
National Fire Agency, Ministry of the Interior, "Guideline Plan for Fire Safety Preparedness of Municipal and County (City) Fire Bureaus in 2024 during the Qingming Festival Period."
II. Purpose:
To prevent fires caused by the public burning incense, candles, paper money, and dry grass during the Qingming Festival period, this period will be used to strengthen fire prevention publicity and alert work, in order to enhance public fire prevention awareness and the response capabilities of rescue personnel, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.
III. Implementation Period:
From March 16 to April 7, 2024 (referencing local customs and key dates from the Civil Affairs Bureau's "Implementation Plan for Convenient Services during the Qingming Festival Period").

IV. During the Qingming Festival period for tomb sweeping and ancestor remembrance, to prevent forest and grassland fires, citizens are requested not to use fire sources when sweeping tombs and paying respects to ancestors. Please make greater use of the city's centralized paper money burning and online ancestor worship services. Additionally, do not use fire for weeding, take your trash with you, do not litter cigarette butts, and do not set off firecrackers. Let us work together to do a good job in fire prevention.
