The Taipei City Department of Education promotes the 2050 net-zero carbon emission policy, and schools continue to promote campus greening work such as small gardens, green roofs, green walls, and tree planting. The Department of Education will hold a birthday ceremony for the school's centennial tree and a tree planting plan at Yangmingshan Elementary School at 10:00 AM on March 26, 113 (2024) (Tuesday). This event combines campus agricultural education with issues such as waste reduction and kitchen waste recycling, and also declares the city's determination for environmental education.
