To inform that the Environmental Protection Administration of the Ministry of the Environment (hereinafter referred to as EPA) invites school teachers to participate in the Soil and Water Protection Board Game Teacher Empowerment Training Activity.
I. In accordance with the Ministry of Education, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's letter No. Tai Jiao Guo Shu Xue Zi No. 1130047475 dated April 11, 113.
II. The aforementioned activity is in response to the 12-year basic education environmental education curriculum. It invites junior high school, elementary school teachers, environmental education counseling groups from various counties and cities, environmental education personnel certified by the Ministry of Education, and seed teachers for soil and groundwater pollution environmental education trained by local environmental protection bureaus to participate in teacher empowerment training. Through board games, teaching related to soil and groundwater topics will be conducted to promote the concept of soil and water remediation.
III. Please grant participating teachers official leave according to your responsibilities. The EPA will provide 3 hours of teacher training hours and 3 hours of environmental education personnel extension hours to the participants.
IV. The venue and date of the activity are as follows:
(I) Northern Region: May 8, 113 (Wednesday) in Classroom 902, 9th Floor, IEAT Conference Center.
(II) Central Region: May 24, 113 (Friday) in Classroom 302, 3rd Floor, WensCo Wenxin Conference Room.
(III) Southern Region: May 31, 113 (Friday) in Conference Room B, B1, Sibo Business Center.
V. In addition, the Administration has planned a mechanism for borrowing, experiencing, or obtaining board game teaching materials (application guidelines are attached) to provide more learning resources for units interested in environmental protection, environmental education, soil and groundwater, and other topics. Teachers are encouraged to apply and utilize them.
