"Taipei Children's Fairy Tale" Environmental Education Picture Book Selection Guidelines

{{ $t('FEZ002') }} Office of Student Affairs|

I. The Taipei City Government Environmental Protection Bureau, in order to enhance children's concern for environmental issues and cultivate environmental awareness through picture books with illustrations and text, and to increase environmental protection knowledge, is holding the aforementioned picture book selection activity from now until July 5, 2024 (Friday). The themes for the picture book selection are "Taipei Green Energy," "Taipei Net-Zero Green Living," and "Taipei's Open-Air Adventure" as the three major directions. In line with the Bureau's promotion of the 2050 net-zero emissions and Taipei City's Open-Air Environmental Education Museum policies, the activity targets elementary school students in lower and middle grades. Participants are encouraged to combine Taipei City's environmental education venues (such as 23 environmental education facilities) and create works that incorporate local characteristics, environmental protection, and creative ingenuity. The picture books can subsequently be used as environmental education materials for widespread use by organizations and the public interested in environmental education, thereby practicing universal co-learning and promoting environmental protection in daily life.

(II) Student Group: Students from junior high school (vocational) and below.

(III) If a participant is a minor, the legal representative must co-sign the participation consent form.
