I. Activity Objective: To promote the deep-rooted campus labor education, we plan to organize a four-panel comic strip contest for elementary school students in the middle and upper grades in this city to learn about labor rights. Through a competitive activity design, we encourage teachers to integrate labor education into art classes and guide students to participate in four-panel comic creation, thereby inspiring students' awareness and concern for labor dignity and the workplace environment, and enhancing the labor literacy of future citizens.
II. Submission Period: September 13, 113 to October 15.
III. Competition Categories and Number of Submissions:
1. "Middle Grade Group" 2. "Upper Grade Group"
2. Works should be submitted under the unit of "school." Each student is limited to submitting "1" work. Each school can submit a maximum of 5 works per group for the competition.
IV. Submission Content:
1. Depict the labor scenes, labor stories, or the hardships of work of family members or relatives, based on their labor experience or work appearance.
2. Depict basic labor rights based on compliance with labor laws and understanding of relevant labor rights, such as: employers should pay overtime pay to employees for overtime work, employers should contribute labor insurance and retirement funds for employees, refusal of workplace overwork, and labor rights to be aware of when working part-time.
3. Other labor-related themes, such as: gender equality in employment, labor current events, and inspiration; combined with the 140th anniversary of Taipei's founding, with the theme of Taipei's urban labor value, such as Taipei's labor stories, Taipei's occupational evolution, Taipei's occupational hardships, Taipei's traditional occupational patterns (e.g., Yongle Fabric Market), and Taipei's modern occupational patterns.
