113 Ministry of Education Subsidy Project for Campus Greenery in Public and Private Schools at All Levels

I. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. Tai Jiao Zi (6) Zi No. 1132702075 dated May 15, 113.

II. To beautify the school's existing hedges, improve the school's visibility into residential buildings, mitigate noise from roads, enhance the habitat environment for trees, increase the survival rate of hedge plants, and establish correct concepts for the maintenance and care of hedge plants, and to learn the correct methods for maintaining and caring for hedge plants, the Ministry of Education will hold three hedge plant maintenance and enhancement observation activities in June.

III. Participants:

(I) Personnel from schools implementing hedge projects, contractors, environmental education counseling groups, teachers and students from public and private universities, colleges, and primary and secondary schools, school tree maintenance personnel, or interested school colleagues.

(II) Schools that applied for hedge project subsidies in 113 must send one representative to participate.

IV. Observation Activity Schedule:

(I) Session 1: Thursday, June 6, 113, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM, at Shengli Elementary School, Pingtung City, Pingtung County.

(II) Session 2: Thursday, June 20, 113, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at Datong Senior High School, Miaoli County.

(III) Session 3: Wednesday, June 26, 113, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at the Taiwan Forestry Research Institute, Ministry of Agriculture, and Taipei Municipal Nanmen Junior High School.

(IV) Registration for the maintenance and enhancement observation activities will be conducted online at: https://reurl.cc/Rqy7l9.

(V) This bureau approves official leave and class coverage for attending personnel.

V. Civil servants, teachers, and environmental education personnel who complete the entire training activity can obtain environmental education hours (including extended hours), teacher training hours, or lifelong learning hours for civil servants for the session (Session 1: 3 hours; Session 2: 4 hours; Session 3: 3 hours). If needed, please be sure to fill in your ID number in the registration form for the organizer to upload data, and sign in and out at the event venue.
