I. Tang Fu-jui is a lawyer and a new-generation director. His first film, "The Fall of the World," which he wrote and directed, explores the theme of sexual assault by those in power. He also wrote the novel "The Defense Attorney of the Eight-Foot Gate," which delves into the death penalty and ethnic issues, discussing ethnic identity among indigenous people and migrant workers, the structure of power and money politics, the death penalty, and judicial justice. Both works transcend the boundaries of black and white, revealing more human dilemmas. The depiction of profound characters and plots presents different perspectives, opening up possibilities for more dialogue.

II. Tang Fu-jui recalls his time studying at the California Institute of the Arts, where he read a quote on a student's graffiti on the classroom wall: "They buried us, but they didn't know we were seeds." He bravely transforms and touches upon issues of sexual assault by those in power and the death penalty, hoping to inspire different reflections. This may form seeds, planted in the soil, which may have the opportunity to grow into something one day in the future.
