I. The eight northern counties and cities (Yilan County, Keelung City, New Taipei City, Taipei City, Taoyuan City, Hsinchu County, Hsinchu City, and Miaoli County) have jointly promoted the Happy Protection Station program, establishing a cooperative mechanism with the four major convenience store chains: Uni-President, FamilyMart, Hi-Life, and OK. Convenience store outlets serve as temporary shelters for children and adolescents in distress, providing meals to satisfy hunger, and assisting in reporting. This enables county and city governments to activate their educational and social care assistance systems to provide substantive help to the families involved.

II. In response to the upcoming summer vacation, to ensure that children and adolescents encountering distress during the holiday can make good use of resources, all parents, teachers, and students are informed that "children and adolescents in distress during the summer vacation can seek help and meals at any of the four major convenience store outlets as long as they are within the scope of the eight northern counties and cities."
