113 School Chemical Substance Management Regulations Briefing Session

I. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. Tai Jiao Zi (6) Zi No. 1130071304 dated July 11, 113.

II. Schools use a wide variety of chemical substances for teaching, research, and experimentation. To comply with the various levels of control and regulatory requirements for chemicals by the central competent authorities, and in response to the frequent changes in personnel responsible for school-related affairs, the Ministry continues to organize the aforementioned briefing sessions. These sessions invite competent authorities such as the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Labor, and the National Fire Agency to lecture on the key points of regulations, to assist schools in grasping the latest regulatory information on chemical management, and to arrange for scholars, experts, or practical representatives from schools to share their experiences in chemical management.

III. This briefing session will be held in a total of 9 sessions, both in-person and online. The information is as follows:

(I) Time and Location: 1. Participants - Universities and Colleges: (1) Online sessions: July 25 and August 21, 113, using Microsoft Teams software for instruction. (2) In-person sessions: August 30, 113 (Taipei session), July 31, September 6 (Taichung session), September 12 (Kaohsiung session). 2. Participants - Senior High Schools and Below: (1) Online sessions: July 26, 113, using Microsoft Teams software for instruction. (2) In-person sessions: August 23, 113 (Kaohsiung session), September 18 (Taipei session).

(II) Registration Deadline: From now until July 24, 113 (Wednesday). If registration is enthusiastic, registration will close early once the maximum number of participants is reached.

(III) Registration Method: Registration is exclusively online. The registration website is: https://forms.gle/1zbRTUPCfAwaZdmz7.

(IV) Participants who complete the entire session will be awarded 6 hours of in-service training for teachers or lifelong learning hours for civil servants. This bureau agrees to grant official (business) leave registration for attendees.
