I. In accordance with the "Taipei City Citizen Third Child or Subsequent Child Attending Primary School Education Subsidy Regulations".

II. The term "third child or subsequent child" as used in these Regulations refers to the third or subsequent child, as calculated by birth order, whose household registration is under the same mother or father.

III. Those who meet all of the following requirements may apply for the education subsidy (hereinafter referred to as the "Subsidy"):

(1) Registered household in this City.

(2) Attending grades 1 to 6 in public or private primary schools in Taipei City (hereinafter referred to as "Schools").

IV. The application, review, and disbursement methods for the Subsidy are as follows:

(1) Schools shall, in accordance with the aforementioned Regulations, notify parents of eligible students in the first grade and newly transferred students to fill out the "Taipei City Citizen Third Child or Subsequent Child Attending Primary School Education Subsidy Application Form" (with a copy of the household registration or other supporting documents attached), and submit the application to the school by November 15, 2024 (Friday). Late submissions will be deemed as voluntary放弃.

(2) The budget for "Municipal Primary Schools" for the 2025 academic year has been allocated within the schools' 2025 budgets. Schools shall review the eligibility of applicants and application documents, prepare a list of subsidized students, and disburse the subsidies themselves after the start of the second semester.

(3) For "private" and "national" primary schools, schools shall review the eligibility of applicants in accordance with the Regulations, prepare a "Student List" (Attachment 1), and submit it along with the "Official School Receipt" to the Bureau (Sports and Health Care Section) by November 22, 2024 (Friday) for review and disbursement. Please do not exceed the deadline.

V. If the household registration cannot identify the third child status, parents should promptly bring their national identity cards to any household registration office to apply for certification as a third child or subsequent child.
