The purpose of this activity is to enhance children's adaptability to adversity and setbacks, positive perspectives, and problem-solving skills. Starting from the concept of primary prevention, resilience is set as a capability for adolescent mental health literacy learning, with different age-specific developmental goals planned, mainly targetingsixth graders from Wenshan District elementary schools, and first graders from junior high schools. Through camp courses, participants will practice core resilience skills such as self-exploration and identity, positive thinking, seeking help, and social-emotional understanding. Activity details are as follows:
1. Name: Adolescent Resilience Creation Camp
2. Time: October 20, 2024 (Sunday) 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
3. Location: Library and Classrooms of Taipei Private Hsing Chung School
4. Target Audience: Sixth graders from elementary schools, first graders from junior high schools
5. Registration for both camp sessions and lectures is open from now until October 11 (Friday). The list of admitted participants will be announced on October 14 (Monday). Subsequent registration procedures will be opened based on registration status.
6. Number of students: 20 participants, maximum 24
