I. The National Science and Technology Council, in order to encourage young students to enter the field of scientific research and understand science from diverse perspectives, has been organizing the Kiss Science event for six consecutive years since 2019.
An open house event is specially organized to enhance the public's understanding of meteorological services.
II. The event features various thematic exhibitions with explanations by specialists on related services (popular science), including forecasting, earthquakes, astronomy, satellites, radar, meteorological observation (instruments), oceanography (instruments), etc.
This allows people of all ages to gain a better understanding of natural sciences in fields such as atmosphere, earthquakes, oceanography, and astronomy. Additionally, there is an SOS (System for Observing Seas and Earth) theater and a new vision of meteorological reality – a circular theater.
These features allow visitors to more intuitively understand the natural scientific phenomena occurring on Earth.
