I. Since 2011, the Child Welfare League Foundation has empowered children and adolescents in diverse ways to understand the Convention on the Rights of the Child and encourage them to express their opinions on their own lives. This year, the foundation invited 16 junior and senior high school students of different ages and backgrounds to express their feelings and thoughts about life through writing and collage over a period of 4 months, and compiled them into a small magazine called "Speak Up!".
II. Time: Saturday, November 30, 2024, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
III. Location: Child Welfare League Foundation "I'm Good, You're Good!" Parent-Child Co-Prosperity Space (5th Floor, 5, Chang'an West Road, Datong District, Taipei City, near Museum of Contemporary Art, Exit 6 of Zhongshan MRT Station).
IV. Format: "Speak Up!" 2024 Achievement Presentation. The event will be held in a World Café format, allowing adults and children/adolescents to interact closely to understand the thoughts behind each creation by the children and adolescents. Participants will hear the feelings and thoughts of junior and senior high school boys and girls on education, family, growth, and other topics at this achievement presentation; at the same time, participants are invited to use their adult experiences to help the children and adolescents resolve their growth-related confusion.
