I. In accordance with the Ministry of Education, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's letter No. Tai Jiao Guo Shu Xue Zi Di 1130127884, dated November 7, 113.

II. To enhance student participation in gender equality education affairs at all levels of schools, the Ministry of Education's Gender Equality Committee accepts student proposal mechanisms, as follows:

(I) Acceptance Period:

1. Proposals are accepted twice annually. The deadline for the first submission is March 14, 114 (Friday); the deadline for the second submission is September 15, 114 (Monday), calculated by the date of receipt by the Ministry of Education.

2. Proposal documents from senior high schools and below should be sent to the Ministry of Education, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

(II) The proposing student's current school is the unit that accepts the proposal. The student proposal process is as follows: individual students propose to the student union or other autonomous organizations, and then the student union or other autonomous organizations propose to the gender equality committee of their respective schools.

(III) Proposal Themes: Limited to national policy issues concerning gender equality education within the Ministry of Education's purview. After schools accept student proposals, if the proposal theme falls under the purview of the school's gender equality committee, it will be discussed and handled by the school's gender equality committee. If the proposal theme falls under the purview of the gender equality committees of municipal or county (city) authorities and the Ministry of Education's gender equality committee, the school's gender equality committee will make a resolution and forward it to the gender equality committees of the municipal or county (city) authorities and the Ministry of Education's gender equality committee.
