II. Activity Description:
(I) The NCCU USR "Local Sustainability. Wenshan Co-Prosperity" Community Support System Building Project plans to hold a "Winter Legal Camp for Elementary School Students" from January 21 to 23, 2025, at National Chengchi University, inviting fifth and sixth graders to participate.
(II) This camp will focus on five major themes: "Public Awareness of Sexual Harassment and Sexual Assault Prevention, Portrait Rights and Copyright, Freedom of Speech and Related Legal Responsibilities, Public Awareness of Basic Criminal Procedure Literacy, Public Awareness of Legal Capacity in Criminal Law." The aim is to construct students' legal concepts and help participants strengthen their awareness of self-rights. Simultaneously, court visits will allow participants to personally experience the practical operations of the court, and through role-playing in mock trials, create a more profound legal education experience.
(III) The planned enrollment is 32 people, on a first-come, first-served basis. The registration deadline is from now until December 8, 2024. IV. The fee for general participants is NT$2,400 (including tuition, meals, insurance, and teaching materials/prizes). If this activity receives relevant subsidies from the Ministry of Education, there will be no charge, only a camp deposit of NT$500. Participants with government-issued (low-)income certificates are exempt from fees, only requiring a camp deposit of NT$500. V. If participants attend the entire camp, the camp deposit will be returned in cash after the activities conclude on the third day of the camp. If a refund via bank transfer is required, a bank transfer fee of NT$15 will be deducted. VI. Please refer to the attachment, which includes a QR code that links to the registration form. VII.
