I. Since 2011, the King Car Cultural and Educational Foundation has been organizing the "Love Makes the World Go Round - Youth Public Welfare Action" selection. Based on the STAGE action steps, it encourages young students to implement local actions with an international perspective, from identifying problems, creative thinking, practical action to harvest and reflection, cultivating the next generation to become world citizens with empathy, action, and team communication skills.
II. Information on the 14th "Love Makes the World Go Round - Youth Public Welfare Action Selection"
(I) Registration: From now until March 7, 2025
(II) Participants: Teachers and students of all levels, including elementary, junior high, and high schools.
(III) Team Formation: Teams can be formed by class, community, or family.
(IV) Submission Themes: Public welfare action plans that align with any of the themes "Global Issues," "Cultural Understanding," "Environmental Sustainability," or "Local Care," and resonate with the 17 SDGs indicators, are eligible for submission.
(V) Awards: 4 Grand Prizes / NT$25,000 each, 4 Excellence Awards / NT$15,000 each, 4 Honorable Mentions / NT$10,000 each, 3 Outstanding Teacher Awards / NT$30,000 each. The organizer reserves the right to adjust or modify the awards based on the number of submissions.
