I. In accordance with Taipei Education Final Letter No. 11430420142.

II. Purpose: To promote the traditional crosstalk performing art, enhance the Mandarin language proficiency of students in Taipei City (hereinafter referred to as "this City"), and improve students' crosstalk performance and appreciation abilities, this event is specially organized.

III. Organizer: Taipei City Government Department of Education (hereinafter referred to as "this Department").

IV. Undertaking Units: Shidong Elementary School, Shilin District, Taipei City; Da'an Elementary School, Da'an District, Taipei City.

V. Competition Date: Thursday, July 3, 2025, and Friday, July 4, 2025.

VI. Competition Venue: 4th Floor, Da'an Elementary School Activity Center.
VII. Participants: Currently enrolled students in junior high schools and elementary schools (including overseas Chinese schools) and experimental education schools (permitted by their competent authorities in accordance with the relevant regulations of the School-Type Experimental Education Implementation Act) within the jurisdiction of this City. [Must be enrolled before the start of the 2024 academic year (August 30, 2024) announced by the Ministry of Education].
VIII. Competition Categories

(I) Solo Crosstalk

Group A: Junior high school students in grades 7 to 9. (Students in GRADE7 to GRADE9 of overseas Chinese schools)
Group B: Elementary school students in grades 4 to 6. (Students in GRADE4 to GRADE6 of overseas Chinese schools)
Group C: Elementary school students in grades 1 to 3. (Students in GRADE1 to GRADE3 of overseas Chinese schools)

(II) Dialogue Crosstalk

Group A: Junior high school students in grades 7 to 9. (Students in GRADE7 to GRADE9 of overseas Chinese schools)
Group B: Elementary school students in grades 4 to 6. (Students in GRADE4 to GRADE6 of overseas Chinese schools)
Group C: Elementary school students in grades 1 to 3. (Students in GRADE1 to GRADE3 of overseas Chinese schools)

IX. Online Registration Period: From Monday, May 5, 2025, to 4:00 PM on Monday, May 12, 2025.
X. Participation Quota: Solo Crosstalk - A maximum of 2 participants per school per category; Dialogue Crosstalk - A maximum of 2 teams per school per category. Each participant is limited to registering for either solo or dialogue crosstalk. Any excess teams found to exceed the limit will be immediately disqualified.
