"So This Is How You Play. Little Storyteller" Series Activities

I. In accordance with Taipei Education National Character No. 1143046623.

II. The Council of Indigenous Peoples' Indigenous Culture Development Center, in order to promote students' understanding and respect for indigenous peoples, will hold a series of activities called "Playing Like This. Little Storyteller" during the Children's Day holiday this year, with the aim of promoting indigenous education for all through fun and educational methods.

III. The series of activities are as follows (all activities are free to participate after purchasing admission tickets):

(I) Activity 1 "Playing Like This. Roaming Tour":

1. Led by the park's experts, participants will roam the park, experience and make indigenous children's toys, read indigenous picture books, and personally create their own storybooks. Participants will receive an indigenous story picture book upon registration! The activity includes lunch and insurance. For detailed itinerary and introduction, please refer to the registration form.

2. Dates: April 3 (Thursday) and 4 (Friday), one tour per day.

3. Number of participants: Limited to 30 people per tour.

4. Registration: Online registration, open from now until March 23 (Sunday). The list of selected participants will be announced on March 26.

(II) Activity 2 "Indigenous Children's Toy Experience":

1. Through the experience and making of indigenous children's toys, learn about the traditional games and life wisdom of indigenous peoples.

2. Dates: April 3 (Thursday) to April 4 (Friday), 13:30 to 16:00 daily.

3. Registration: On-site registration, first-come, first-served.

(III) Activity 3 "Stone House Little Storyteller":

1. Reading of the popular indigenous picture book "My Name." In the historic stone house, storytellers from the community will be invited to read indigenous life story picture books with culturally educational teaching designs, allowing participants to listen to moving stories of growth and cultural identity.

2. Dates: April 3 (Thursday) and April 4 (Friday), 13:30 to 14:30 daily.

3. Registration: On-site registration, first-come, first-served.

(IV) Activity 4 "Cultural Tour Stamp Collection Fun":

1. During the Children's Day holiday from April 3 (Thursday) to April 6 (Sunday), receive a "kivangavang Tour Card" upon entry (one card per person). Complete the stamp collection mission to redeem a souvenir at the visitor service center.

2. Additional activity: Receive an extra gift for purchases over NT$200, limited to 100 sets. For park information, operating hours, ticketing, and transportation, please refer to the Council of Indigenous Peoples' Indigenous Culture Development Center website (https://www.tacp.gov.tw); for group visits, please apply for guided tours online at least 10 days in advance (https://www.tacp.gov.tw/CulturalPark/GApplication). Each guided tour is limited to 20 to 90 people, and student group tickets require a minimum of 30 people.
