In view of the fact that the CCP has continuously amended national security laws and expanded its judicial jurisdiction in recent years, and there have been frequent reports of Taiwanese citizens going missing, being detained and interrogated, or suspected of being deprived of personal freedom in mainland China, the personal safety of Taiwanese citizens traveling to mainland China is an important public interest matter. To raise awareness of the risks for Taiwanese citizens traveling to mainland China, reduce accidents and risks, and ensure the personal safety of Taiwanese citizens, please refer to the Mainland Affairs Council( hereinafter referred to as "the Council" )official website's "Registration System for Taiwanese Citizens Traveling to Mainland China and Hong Kong/Macau and Types of Actions That May Lead to Detention" section to understand the risks of traveling to mainland China, and encourage Taiwanese citizens to register on the "Dynamic Registration System for Taiwanese Citizens Traveling to Mainland China and Hong Kong/Macau" before traveling to mainland China. This will enable the government to contact the individual's relatives and friends in a timely manner and provide necessary assistance if any unexpected or emergency situations arise during their stay in mainland China, ensuring their rights and interests.
